Jade Screen Extra is based on a classical Chinese herbal formula called Yu Ping Feng San. It’s name translates to the Jade Wind Screen formula, because it helps to support your immune shield on the exterior layers of your body.

Traditionally used to help prevent susceptibility to seasonal colds and flus it can also help to relieve symptoms of heyfever and seasonal allergies. The Jade Screen formula helps to tonify Wei Qi, which is a part of our defensive Qi / immune system that helps to prevent illness from viruses, bacteria and pollens that enter our body via the respiratory system. This version has been uniquely modified, by Dr Phiona Gitsham, based on the herbs that have been used over the past 2 decades in China to help protect against SARS and H1N1 (flu) viruses. After analysing the meeting points between the herbs that are favored in China for this function, with the western constitutional & biome risks unique to where we are (in north america), the herbs chosen for this modified YPFS were selected for their suitability.

Featuring 8 herbs, (5 additional to the original 3 in Yu Ping Feng San), Jade Screen Extra has been formulated for our communities with the viral concerns of our time in mind. All ingredients are certified organic or have been tested above and beyond organic standards, passing pesticide, heavy metal & contaminant free.

A spagyric tincture is an evolved alchemical medicine, that contains a total extraction of the herbal actives, often more complete than a standard tincture. It has also been created in harmony with astrological timing relevant to the herbs used and their functions (medical astrology). This includes some extra steps, beyond the usual tincture extraction process. After extraction, the herbs are calcined to release the mineral salts that are still contained within them. Crystals are then grown from these mineral salts, here in the lab @bio_herboloqi, and are re-combined (the alchemical re-marriage) with the rest of the actives that have already been extracted. The medicinal crystals are electrolytes which enhance the bioavailability and absorption potential of the medicine. More evolved and whole, no medicine is left out. Jade Screen extra was also educated and blessed while being made, with the medicine buddha mantra for healing and good health.
