Contraindications In most cases with exterior cold and interior heat. Not to be given to patients with internal heat or internal damp-heat. Should be used with caution during the summer or spells of hot weather. If incorrectly prescribed, or if the dosage is too strong, profuse sweating, high fever, severe thirst, palpitations, and irritability may result. In such cases, Bai hu jia ren shen tang shoud be prescribed to cope with the side effects.
