Bold D3-K2-A features an organic, vegan form of Vitamin D3 (cholecalciferol) that is sustainably sourced from algae rather than from Lanolin, Mushroom or Lichen. With Vitamin K2 and Vitamin A, we combine three critically needed fat soluble vitamins in one great tasting, highly absorbable blend.

Bold Botanica’s D3-K2-A also contains MK-7, a more stable and absorbable form of Vitamin K2, which interacts synergistically with Vitamin D and is important in helping to balance calcium distribution. We complete this unique formula with Vitamin A, an often greatly overlooked fat soluble Vitamin that is also critical for healthy immune system function. Recent research shows that compounds in Vitamin A play a critical role in enabling Vitamin D to do its job effectively. *

Do you know where your Vitamin D3 comes from? Global demand for Vitamin D3 has greatly strained current supply chains. Most Vitamin D3 is made from lanolin, (derived from sheep's wool), which is facing global shortages. Lichen, another source of D3, takes decades to re-grow and is not sustainable in the longer term. Vitamin D from mushrooms is in the form of D2 - ergocalciferol, not D3 - cholecalciferol and no where near as biologically effective. Recent studies show that Vitamin D3 may be 87% more effective than D2 at raising and maintaining serum levels of Vitamin D.
