Not all heat-sensitive products ship with cold packs as our suppliers have advised this is not necessary. Products are manufactured to withstand time in transit, including the time it takes for products to reach our warehouse and make a second trip to you. Long-term storage continues to be the primary factor in maintaining the quality and efficacy of these products.

HLC Intensive Capsules provide four strains of proprietary human-sourced probiotics that promote optimal intestinal health in children and adults. Lactobacilli and Bifidobacteria are the most commonly used probiotics and are effective in colonizing the intestines. Probiotics reinforce the epithelial barrier and mediate intestinal permeability via controlling the integrity of tight junctions. Although the microflora composition in the gut is relatively steady, it can be altered by stress, age, and medication use. Probiotics promote the presence of beneficial bacteria to support normal intestinal function.*
