Description Chest Relief subdues cough, soothes the throat and chest, gently dispels Phlegm Heat, aides expectoration, replenishes Moisture, redirects rebellious Lung Qi downward, purges Wind and Heat, and bolsters Nutritive (Ying) and Defensive (Wei) Qi. Relaxing to the nerves and viscera, it calms the child as well as the cough.
