Ku Shen (Radix Sophorae Flavescentis), Da Huang (Radix Et Rhizoma Rhei), Lian Qio (Fructus Forsythiae), Chuan Xin Lian (Herba Andrographitis), Pu Gong Ying (Herba Taraxaci), and Tian Kui Zi (Radix Semiaquilegiae), clear heat nd resolve toxins, disperse swelling and scatter binding. Dan Shen (Radix Salviae Miltiorrhizae), quickens and cools the blood, while Bai Zhi (Radix Dahuricae), resolves the exterior and dries dampness, disperses swelling and expels pus. Liu Huang (Sulphur) promotes healing of the skin and the engenderment of new, healthy tissue.
