Description

Calms the spirit, nourishes Liver blood, warms the Penetrating vessel, Conception vessel, and Womb. Sweet and warm, with a moistening nature, the heaviness of Fluoritum (zi shi ying) calms the spirit and settles the mind, while also augmenting the Liver blood in the lower burner. Its major channel affiliations are the Heart and Liver, but several texts mention its effects on the extra channels. (Chinese Herbal Medicine Materia Medica, 2nd ed)
