Description

To aid in the relaxation of the uterine smooth muscle. Beneficial to use before your moon cycle to prevent menstrual cramps. Can also be used to maintain and support vaginal health.

Yoni steams bring moist heat to the womb & perineum, carrying with it the medicinal properties of the herbs. The vaginal tissue is highly absorbent, and when the herbal steam comes into contact with the body, the medicinal properties of the herbs are absorbed into the tissue and enter the bloodstream. This has a direct healing effect on the reproductive system. Yoni steams can be used to support vaginal health, cleanse the uterus, and maintain fertility. Since yoni steams increase blood flow to the vaginal area, it can have a positive effect on libido and the vaginal fluids. In general, yoni steams are beneficial for painful menstruation, irregular menstrual cycles, menstrual spotting, endometriosis, ovarian cysts, uterine fibroids, reproductive scar tissue, and previous vaginal tear or episiotomy.

DIRECTIONS: Bring 2 quarts of water to a boil. Add 1 cup of yoni steaming herbs to boiling water. Gently simmer for 10 minutes, keep covered. While your herbs simmer, set up a relaxing area for steaming. After the herbs have simmered for 10 minutes, turn off the heat and allow the water & herbs to cool for 5 minutes. Carefully pour the hot water and herbs into a heat safe basin. Position the basin below where you will sit. Disrobe from the waist down, but leave on a warm pair of socks. Sit comfortably above the basin with your yoni exposed to the steam. The steam should feel warm but not too hot. Wrap yourself in a towel from the waist down to keep yourself warm and the steam contained. Relax and enjoy the healing benefits for 20-30 minutes. After your yoni steam, dress yourself in warm dry clothing. It is recommended to steam before bed. Suggested to steam 1-2 times a month before or after your menstrual cycle
