Description

Acrid, hot, and toxic, Aconiti Radix preparata (zhi chuan wu) enters the Liver and Spleen channels, as well as the gate of vitality, according to Master Shen\\'s Book for Revering Life. It eliminates cold-dampness, and stops pain. The herb is most often used in the treatment of painful obstruction due to pathogenic wind, dampness, or cold, wind pain in the joints, hemiplegia, headache from wind-cold, cold leading to abdominal pain, and toxic swollen yin flat abscesses.
