Heat-sensitive products that require a cold pack may arrive warm. The pack usually stays cooler than outside conditions and continues to help keep the product cooler even after it melts.

While these products may be labeled as heat-sensitive, they are not heat-intolerant. Probiotics are made to compensate for any bacteria losses during transit. This ensures the product you receive is effective as advertised, despite any temperature changes.

Not all heat-sensitive products ship with cold packs as our suppliers have advised this is not necessary. Products are manufactured to withstand time in transit, including the time it takes for products to reach our warehouse and make a second trip to you. Long-term storage continues to be the primary factor in maintaining the quality and efficacy of these products.
