Description This is an excellent formula for deficiency Yin fire conditions, especially those causing menopausal hot flashes or spermatorrhea. The formula is also useful in late stage fevers as found in AIDS or tuberculosis. This particular version of the formula adds pig bone marrow, Zhu Sui, which aids the tonification of Yin and counters "bone steaming," characterized by deep internal heat with day or night sweating.
