Description	Pu Gong Ying clears heat and resolves toxins, clears heat and eliminates dampness, disperses welling abscesses and scatters nodulations. Some Chinese authors also feel that this medicinal has the ability to course the liver and rectify the qi as well as promote lactation and, therefore, eve supplement yin. Ban Lan Gen clears heat and resolves toxins, cools the blood and disinhibits the throat. Chuan Xin Lian also clears heat and eliminates dampness - some TCM practitioners will use this herb as a substitute for Huang Lian.
