Throat Soothe, 1oz

Pattern: Invasion of external Wind-Heat at the Wei Level.
Action: Release the Exterior, expel Wind-Heat, benefit the throat.
Caution and contraindications: All the herbs in this remedy are cold in nature and they may therefore injure the Spleen with prolonged use. However, this will not happen as the remedy is given only for a short time by definition. As the remedy is specific for the Wei Level of an invasion of exterior Wind-Heat, the remedy is given only for a few days: after that, either the child has expelled the Wind and recovered or the pathogenic factor has penetrated into the Interior in which case the child will need a different remedy.
