"This condition is due to problems in all three of the yang channels * - Chinese Herbal Medicine Formulas & Strategies.

"Although this is a complicated pattern, the main problem is one of constraint. The chief ingredients- Gui Zhi, Chai Hu, Huang Qin, and Da Huang- address constraint in the three yang channels and their respective yang organs. The assistant ingredients- Long Gu and Mu Li- weigh down and calm the floating spirit.
