Jade Control is derived from Chinese Cinnamon Twig and Poria Pill Gui Zhi Fu Ling Wan, with some elements of Drive Out Blood Stasis in the Lower Abdomen Decoction Shao Fu Zhu Yu Tang, both of which are famous for treating abdominal masses. Where there is some constitutional weakness it is a good idea to use tonic formulas during the cycle and then Jade Control in the week before and during the period.
