This complete laser acupuncture treatment program utilizes a new product that meets USA - FDA Laser Safety Regulations.  This quality 635 nm red laser with an output of 5 mw,  is powered by two AA batteries (included) and comes with a protective metal travel case.  It utilizes a series of patented Laserlift products designed by doctors to limit eye exposure from laser scatter light radiation.  They accomplish this goal by collimating the laser beam, using sanitary, disposable tips.  These tips come in two sizes, which allows safe stimulation of acupuncture points.  This is the same laser used by Doctors Home Facelift for stimulation of acupuncture points and treating facial wrinkles.  The smaller tip is very useful for auriculotherapy and for points close to the eyes.  Dental tips are perfect for oral use. The Acupen is an electronic testing device for finding acupuncture points electronically. The device allows a person to locate the most active acupuncture point for laser treatment with a high percentage of accuracy. The Acupen features 3 levels of sensitivity when an active point is located it is indicated with a tone, a green LED, and a percentage sensitivity level on the LCD screen in a percentage of 01% - 99%. This display can be held in memory. The unit features an auto off after 1 minute to conserve battery life and requires LR44 1.5v button batteries which are supplied. Unit has a low battery display to show when to change batteries and complete instructions are included. These quality units should not be confused with inexpensive laser pointers which are in the range of 650 - 670 nm.  Research demonstrates that a wavelength of 635 nm (1 nanometer is 1/billionth of a meter) is the frequency of a healthy cell and is optimal for healing and most beneficial for stimulating acupuncture points.  Usage instructions and charts are included showing treatment points for trigger point therapy, motor points, auriculotherapy, and dental points.
